I'm making an iPhone cake and will be using an edible image as the background phone image on a fondant covered cake. I want to add a strip of fondant on top of the edible image that looks like a pop up text message that will say happy birthday. Will placing fondant on top of the edible image ruin it? If so, what are the alternatives? Thanks!!
