I made one in a real terracotta  flower pot year ago.  Plugged the hole in the bottom with glue and then lined it all with silicone baking paper so there was no contact of the food with the pot.  Worked fine.

I used the bottom part of the wilton giant cupcake pan. Worked awesome for me icon_smile.gif but it won't be a big pot though, if size is an issue.

plant pots make great pans (scrubbed of course). They are great for rustic style loaves with sun dried tomatoes etc, they are used extensively at some AGA workshops.

They aren't food safe, unless lead free...

Should have stated that, the workshops I attended did mention it even still, they were lined with parchment. These ones were specifically for growing kitchen herbs.

You could carve one. This tutorial might help you though it is small pots not a large one.
