AHi, I'm making my daughter's birthday cake for tomorrow. I've made a gumpaste crown to go on top. I'm piping BC roses all over the whole cake tonight and putting it in the fridge overnight (super hot and humid here!). I think I want to put the crown on top in the morning, but the BC roses will be solid. How should I attach the crown? I didn't wire it :( If I keep aside some BC and use that will it be okay? Thanks in advance!

Sorry, everyone is so darn busy.  If the crown is nice and dry it will be fine in the fridge over night.  I put gumpaste flowers in there on the cake all the time.

AThank you so much Denise. I know everyone is incredibly busy, I really appreciate your reply. It wasn't fully hard last night so I've decorated it but left it off and will attach it this morning with some BC. I'll be better organised next time and let it harden up fully before I need it! It's great. To know I can put it in the fridge next time. Thanks again xxx
