I have a tube of guava filling that I was thinking about using in a pineapple rum cake. Does anyone know if that combo will work or have other suggestions? This is the first time I have ever used a guava flavor before. My sister found it at the cake store and wanted to try something different. Thanks

AHello pastrychf: Hope you are well. In my experience with guava, I would not use it with a pineapple rum cake because it is too strong. You could use it with a vanilla cake instead. Good luck.
