Jack Daniels Bottle In Ice Bucket Cake

Hello everyone.
I am new to this site. Im a home baker with a question.
I've been researching on how to structure and support a cake i have coming up this weekend. I need to create a cake that is a jack daniels bottle inside of an ice bucket. I pretty much know how to structure each cake but im unsure as to how to put the bottle in the bucket.
The client does not want the bottle to be made out of rice krispies and wants the bottle coming out of the bucket.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thanks so much.
oh ok, I would just treat the bottle as another tier then….make the bucket and then carve out a hole in the top (maybe a couple inches) the size of the bottom of the bottle. Measure your dowel rods or straws and push them in the hole. Then place a cake board on top and then place the bottle cake on top of that…then you can finish decorating around the bottle.. adding ice or whatever. Does this answer your question?
yessss it does. thank you so much. i figured that was probably the best way i just needed confirmation. Thank you so much.
As you can see from my Avatar I did a bottle laying down - there was a moment when she wanted the bottle to be standing - that would have been easier imo. I carved the cake from a solid block of madeira cake - I think this cake will withstand the prodding and pulling - and I would dowel straight down the centre into the bottom tier or bucket - again, I would carve the shape of the bucket but out of layered cakes. I would probably not do a full bottle - maybe 2/3 - so it looks like it is sunk into the bucket.
ahhh yes, good idea dayscakes…make the bottle only 2/3 so you don't necessarily have to carve out a hole
awesome cake. She wants the bottle made out of strawberry cake with buttercream frosting. i think making only 2/3 of the bottle is a great idea, just enough to see the label on the bottle.
