I have a wedding cake to deliver to a venue and have been given the name of the wedding planner who will sign the cake as 'fit for purpose' when I leave it, so that if there is any damage to it after I leave I cannot be held responsible.
I am struggling with how to word the declaration -any advise??
AIf you google 'sample delivery note' you'll get some good layouts,
include: what you are delivering, Your business name and contact details which you should also leave with the organiser, They sign beside a statement something like "Goods received as described above", I also include a statement along the lines of "Damage after delivery is repairable at an hourly rate (maybe add "chargeable to VENUE NAME") and is dependant on staff availability"
Hope that helps! :)
I would also take pics after you get it there and set it up include the planer in the pic that way you have visual prof
