Hey guys, im thinking of doing the 2014 cake cruise out of FL Ft Lauderdale in November. Is this a good idea, and who has went and what are you thoughts, likes or dislikes? Is it worth it?

Thanks!

I've been on several. Tons of fun as both a cruise and classes.

o wonderful!! ok so the food and everything is good just like a regular cruise would be? I just want to make sure nothing is sacrificed just because its a cake cruise? Is the size of ship good and the accomodations?

I am def thinking of going on this one, just waiting for the class list to post..

No, we're not able to go this year, but I have no doubt it'll be great.

CakeCruise first began in 2005 with the aim of combining a fun family vacation for sugar artists. While we are not in port or sleeping, we are usually having an activity which could be a class, a presentation or a get together. During the classes, the rest of the family can be having a ton of fun with the other shipboard activities and kids are having a blast with the supervised kids programs.

Because it is a vacation (or for some a tax deductible educational event) the classes include all tools and supplies so the student simply walks into the class, sits down and learns (maybe bring an apron). We focus on teaching skills rather than having the students deal with trying to get their projects home on the plane. Our instructors are great, we limit class sizes and you get all of the perks of going on a 7 day cruise. All the details are available on our website at www.cakecruise.com
