Help Please - How To Make Royal Icing Minnie Mouse Stand
Decorating By nicoleleecosta Updated 16 Mar 2014 , 1:59pm by nicoleleecosta
AHi everyone, I need to make a cake for this Saturday - a gift box with a minnie popping out of the box. I was thinking of making Minnie out of royal icing, but i'm not sure if it will dry on time, and if it would, any tips on how to make it stand on the cake?
I'm thinking of fondant with tylose as an alternative, but i don't think that will dry quick enough either.
Any suggestios, please? Below is the link with the cake i'm talking about.
Thank you so much

AYeah, it will certainly dry in time, but do it now. And I mean a cutout style with gum paste and fondant.
AWhew! I managed to pull this off, although I made the minnie a more of a 3d-ish version ... Here's a pic of my cake
