AI'm currently taking Wilton Course 2 classes and need to make Royal Icing for class. i ran out of the Wilton Meringue Powder but I do have the Chefmaster Deluxe Meringue Powder. The Chefmaster Mieringue powder is saying to mix 1/4 cup powder with 1/2 cup cold water and the Wilton one is obviously different. I was wondering if I can put this royal icing and mix it with the wilton brand since i have it in a bowl already to take to class but its not enough??

Meringue powder is a pastuerized  egg product, there can't be much difference between the two. If you don't have meringue powder you can use egg white.

Usually 2 tsps of water plus 2 tablespoons of water makes 1 egg white.

Sorry, supposed to read 2 tsp meringue powder and 2 tablespoon water. I hope I didn't confuse you.
