so i have a blueberry frozen packet from irristables and i wanted to make blueberry muffins regardless of them being frozen. The problem is, i was looking at whether i should thaw it before i baked it or use it frozen. im kinda confused right now because the packet says to bake when frozen but if its frozen and i bake it wouldnt the water of the berries thaw right now my muffin? wouldnt that make them soggy? im just asking if any of you have ever tried this packet and whether it works frozen or defrosted. and whether i should use it frozen or not ...

Thank you :)

AI typically use frozen berries in my muffins. If I thaw them and mix in the batter, they usually color the batter, and fall apart. If they're frozen, they hold their shape, and do not color the batter much. I don't know about your specific packet, but that is just how I do it - at home, and in the commercial kitchen I work at. Hope that helps.

I toss them in frozen as well. They do not come out soggy.
