Very well deserved! That arrangement has a lot of life to it, movement, like the tendrils would rustle in a breeze if there were one. And the vase is sugar as well, no? Pretty neat.

Yes the teapot is pastillage dried with formers and put together using let down modelling paste. Is was sprayed with pearlised white.

Thanks, my signature was something my dad would say to me. I have always found it inspirational.

Congratulations!  Well done.  Is this the entry where the first teapot you make broke and you had to make another?  Love the sweet peas :)

Yes that right, I managed to get the teapot remade but not decorated in the way I had planned. But I think the plain t,pot works better as a ll the attention is on the flowers icon_wink.gif

Thanks. icon_smile.gif believe or not part of the feedback I received from the judges was to get my flower paste even thinner. So I think I need to change the paste I use.

I didn't get to go to this one :-( but took my brother (22 year old mechanical engineering student) to Birmingham and when entering the flower area, he said, "i thought this was about cake stuff....what are florists doing bringing flowers here?".  He had no idea that they weren't real - stunning and congratulations!
