plzzzzzz help me...its to tiny around 2 inches in diameter...so it doesnt stick to the board...and keeps coming out oo messy...dont know what to do :(

Oh, what a PITA!! I put mine on a styrofoam dummy, and skewer it into place, through the top, with two skewers. I pipe a soft icing on it with a flat "ribbon" or "basket weave" tip, then smooth it gently, scraping the excess off. Then go around the top and get the edges smooth, working around the skewers. Remove skewers and patch the center of the top.

AI'd use a poured fondant or liquid ganache and call it a day.

A teeny cake is similar to a petit four. I pour icing (ganache, glaze, etc) over the chilled cake while swearing about how much I dislike teeny cakes.

Those small es bring out the worst in me. I'd post my favorite swear words but the mods have enough to do. 

I do it like Anna, except I have a wooden board with 2 thin metal skewers about an inch apart, that come out of the bottom. Just stick it on, ice with an itsy bitsy offset spatula, and lift it off by sliding a small offset underneath, between the skewers.
The board was made for doing styro dummies, but works great for minis.
