Hi All,  I am making sugar cookies decorated as basketballs.  I want to top the cookie with fondant.  Anyone with experience getting the right color orangish/brownish color?  I have orange fondant, thinking of tinting it with brown, or ivory???

Thanks for taking a look

AIf you're not happy with just plain orange...id add a drop of brown at a time. Slowly though so as not to get too much brown and get a weird muddy color

AI would add a drop of brown as well, and maybe a dark red or burgundy if you have it. Ivory is often too pink.

Add a little bit of violet food coloring a little at a time. Violet darkens orange without affecting its color.
