AHello everyone,

I want to make these cupcakes for my daughter's 1st birthday.

Anyone have any idea how to make the flower on top? Is it made of thin fondant? I would assume the flower on top is of course a cutter but it is that folded layered effect under neath it that I am in love with! How the heck do I do that? Any tips would be so much appreciated. Or if anyone out there knows of any tutorials for this that would be even better!

Thanks in advance!

Looks like fondant circles folded in half and then folded in half again like shown here: http://www.sparkle2day.com/2013/07/fondant-flower-cupcake-recipe.html

AGoreti..... I think that's it!

Although the pink cupcakes I posted seem to have a bit of height, do you think she did 2 layers of folded circles? So it would be 8 circles in total? What do you think?

A really simple but effective way to do it!
