I would also suggest you change your passwords to everything and have a different password for each account.
Hackers and spammers suck - but it's the way the internet is. You have too do what you can to protect yourself.

This person is SMART and CLEARLY knows the Cake Central system. Please make sure you DO NOT CLICK ON ANY HYPERLINKS in the email notifications or the love match PMs you are getting, especially the cakecentral.com hyperlink in the love PM that's being sent. I don't know where that hyperlink will take you and I don't know what virus it WILL put on your computer but DO NOT click on ANY of the hyperlinks in those thread postings or PMs.
Our system is overloaded so although we have already caught and deleted the spam post from the thread, the email notification system is bogged up and still sending out notifications to the thousands of members that have subscribed to the threads that were SPAMed and there is no way to stop it (or so I've been told). Please just delete them.
Maybe it's Jason Kraft exacting his revenge because he has been banned.

If it is Jason, as so many have been suspecting, this is showing his true colors because whoever is doing this is trying to give ALL of you viruses and ruin your computers. I hope it isn't him - we didn't see eye to eye but I didn't think he was this vindictive and frankly THIS big of a jerk.

How many people have suspected this? Because I certainly didn't. Maybe you shouldn't accelerate the spread of rumors, unless you have actual proof that he is involved - otherwise it is slander on your part.

Aw, come on the boards have been buzzing. But you are right, I have no idea and I though my post was actually defending Jason in my way, I don't think he'd write such a weird post and punish ALL of Cake Centtral. This has a certain African or Island country known for spam attacks written all over it. So I'm not here to perpetuate any rumors, all I'm saying is my inbox has been BOMBED today and I'm as irritated as you all are and running every virus program I have!

OK gals, he's banned so he can't defend himself, lets just drop it and move in to blaming who really is jacking up our day, which are the jerks that do this for a living in countries where this type of spamming is legal and profitable.
Look, I don't know much, but I know that it's humanly impossible to hit as many posts as what has happened today and yesterday, so lets be real here, this is a pro and it must have worked so well yesterday - meaning so many people clicked on their links - they did it again today. I just delete delete delete because I spot this crap a mile away - but apparently it works otherwise they wouldn't do it.

Jason was always a tool but I seriously doubt he would hack the website.
I do think he might try to sue Cake Central for libel if posts like this suggesting he might be behind it aren't deleted. Doesn't that sound like something he would do? :D
AThat many posts is some kind of a bot that's just programmed to respond to every post.
AIt's not definitely a virus but it could contain one if it had links, which it doesn 't.
You have lost the plot if you think Jason is responsible - and this thread is officially off the rails talking about "suing". Get back on topic.
AI dont ever see Jason doing anything at all to hurt or harm anyone. He's always been a friend to all and always willing to help everyone. This definitely sounds like a foreign issue.someone or several someones seem to have nothing else better to do that be corruptive and cause chaos in the lives of innocent people.
