I found out we have cottage laws in the state I am moving to so I can start avertising my cakes. I been doing them under the table because it is illegal in illinois but I am moving to ohio in june, so i am trying to come up with some good prices and i need a name to. I only bake cream cakes (a betty croaker mix with a packet of generic dream whip and real milk. Very moist) My name be Luscious, so it fits and I wanna use it. Luscious's Moist Cream Cakes. my friend just laff, but I think it cute. Whaddaya think?

Are you ONLY going to do cakes???? If yes how about Luscious Cakes??? If you are going to leave room to expand perhaps Luscious Desserts???

Good Luck, we in Alabama are on our third go round in the legislature with our Cottage Food Law to allow home baking and selling of those goods.

Don't use the word "moist" ever, it's an awful word. Like an armpit.

How about Lady Luscious Cream Cakes? Or Cream Dream cakes? I'd suggest Wet and Wild, but that really doesn't suggest cake does it? Lol!

Oh...a good tag line could be..'you'll scream for cream!'

I like  teh word moist and that is how people be describing my cakes when they bite them. I bake from scratch (a mix plus added ingredents not on the box) so I was thinking maybe "moist scratch cakes" if I don't use my name.

Get your minds out of the gutter, ladies. Those were perfectly innocent suggestions.

Beginners, be sure to parrot advice and get your post count up as fast as you can. After all, it's not what you know, it's what people THINK you know.

If you use a mix it isn't from scratch, so I wouldn't put "scratch" in your business name, it would be a bit deceiving.  Keep the name simple, not too long.
