AHi, I made fondant following Jessica Harris receipe and Micheal Foster receipe on Nov 16, 2013.

I made couple of cakes since then. However I have so much left. I separately wrapped with clear white sheet and placed in ziploc in the refrigerator instead in the freezer. Now, I am worried , is this be usable? Can I still use this and freeze it? How long it lasts for?

I also made candy clay finding, wrapped and placed in white container in the refrigerator instead freezer.

Please advise.. My sons birthday coming soon and I have to make cake and determine weather is it usable or not?

Thank you so much..

I have kept my fondant in the refrigerator for up to 4 months.  I just bring it back to room temperature and usually make a small fresh bacth that I add to the the older batch to freshen it up.  It works fine for me.  Nevertheless if I am using it just to make decorations I have used fondant that I have had older than that.  I never freeze anything.
