ADo I want to freeze my cake before crumb coat? After crumb coat do I re-freeze? Also I am just using store bought icing? What does the freezing actually do for the cake and to icing?

AI freeze cakes after the crumb coat. If anything family and friends say they are more moist after being frozen. With working this is the only way I can get a big cake done. Just don't uncover them until they are thawed and do not frost until they sit a day.
