Just asking...so even if you sell one or two cakes a month out of your house you should have a license to do this?

ANot necessarily. Check with your local health department, or whatever department governs things related to food business, and ask if you need permits, licenses, inspections, etc. They can usually answer any questions you have, or direct you to a department that can.

AI don't sell many cakes at all, but went through all the proper channels to become a legal business so I can. It doesn't matter how much I'm selling, it matters that I'm doing it the right way, according to my local laws.
