Is Fondarific Fondant Better Than Satin Ice?

I was wondering if fondarific fondant was better than Satin Ice. Is it better to work with? What are the difference for those of you that have tried both?
Thanks
From my experience, and in my opinion, Fondarific tastes better than Satin Ice does, and has a lot more elasticity. It does not fully harden like Satin Ice can if rolled thin or when left out for long periods of time. It will harden up, but will still be pliable. Personally, I prefer to cover my cakes with the Fonderific, since it stretches well and doesn't wrinkle as much, although you do have to be careful of tearing if you roll it too thin. When it comes to figures and flowers, I like to use Satin Ice since it sets up better. In the end, I guess it depends on what you are looking to do with it. I like both fondants a lot and keep both on hand. HTH
AI personally prefer Fondarific. However, there are those who swear by Satin Ice or Fondx or Pettinice or Massa.
What i have learned is that its really best to play with a few to see which one works best for you.
AWell, the things is I am a satin ice user. I cover my cake perfectly with Satin ice and never have any problem with it. However, I have been watching a couple of tutorial and people are always refering to fondarific. I was wondering if it was worth to try it. Now I think that I really want to try it out. I am really curious and I really want my cake to look top notch hihihi. Thanks
AI just ordered a five sample pack of different flavors...love it! very easy to work with. order the samples and try yourself.
AI don't know which of the to is best, but the best fondant ever is from Albert Uster ( Massa ). Hope this help :D
I used to use Satin Ice, until they changed their product and will not take responsibility for it. Fondariffic is very soft, will be using it again shortly, but not a fan. it will take a lot of practice with this product. and I have covered many fondant cakes. It is not good for figures though. hope this helps you.
I like fondarific better than Satin Ice but I still use satin ice for figurines. Have you tried Elite? I love that fondant - very smooth and silky. I find Satin ice always has a lot of little craters in it, no matter how much I knead it and roll it out. Pettinice is also my go to fondant for covering cakes. But definitely buy a bucket of a few different brands and test them out for yourself. Good luck.
