I found this online and I think its mega cute. I would like to know if anyone knows what the foam ball is covered with? And how do you cover a ball in fondant? Any help greatly appreciated.
TThanks

Im not sure what that ball is covered with.  If you want to cover a ball in fondant melt the fondant in a bowl in the microwave.  then dip the ball into the melted fondant, swirl it around so that it seamlessly cover and has no drip marks.  then set aside to dry.

I hope this was helpful.  Check out my cake decorating videos at http://www.youtube.com/user/TheIcingArtist

It looks like a combination of sanding sugar with disco dust mixed in. To cover a ball in fondant you just have to wrap it, smooth it, and pinch it off at the bottom.
