I am making a friend's birthday cake and want it to be extra special. I found picture when googling and love it. I can do the chocolate disks with transfers and familiar with sugar tubes but how do I make that glaze without melting the icing underneath. I never had good luck with that. Thank you so much for any advice.

Freeze your cake first. Make sure your glaze isn't hot before pouring and don't pour in one spot. It can be slightly warm. Use a spatula to help it along.

Hope that helps!
