AHi all! I received a cake order for this weekend for a Mario cake to feed 10-15 people. That's great, but the mom requested the main colors be pink and white! I am having a hard time coming up with a design that has mostly pink and white with Mario on it as usually he has blues and greens surrounding him. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm assuming we're talking Mario as in the Nintendo character. (Disclaimer: other than the original Donkey Kong arcade game, I've never actually played anything in the Mario franchise.) You might want to include Mario's girlfriend, "Princess Peach," who generally dresses in pink and white.

AIm doing a mario cake this weekend however they want the traditional type setting with the skyline...what if you did a white / pink iced caked with mario as a topper? I have played many of these games in the franchise many many years ago and Im not recalling any pink scenery...except for princess peach..please let me know what you come up with because now Im intrigued!

AI have been racking my brain and I think I may have a good solution. Since the mom is wanting the cake to be girly but her daughter wants Mario ( yes, the Mario from the Nintendo games. Who I am only familiar with from the original Super Mario bros. game) I am thinking of making a square cake that resembles a present wrapped in pink with a white bow with a Mario made out of modeling chocolate bursting out of the top like he was wrapped inside and just couldn't wait to get out.. What do y'all think?

Ayes I think that will be cute...does she only want mario? I wonder why the mom wouldnt just let the birthday girl pick out the cake...big deal if it isnt pink ya know?! The girl may have been just fine with a traditional mario and a scene out the game...tisk tisk...either way I cant wait to see the end result! My brother made me do a green turtle shell as his cake last year...this thread is bringing back fond memories lol
