Hi...I would like to make a display dummy for an event im going to.
If want to make the ombre rose cake on a dummy...do I need to cover the dummy in fondant first?! Or wet the cake?!

If your piping the ombre roses than lightly frost the dummy with your buttercream first. Fondant is more expensive and not necessary.

What is Stork for us in the US? Is it a vegetable shortening?

Nevermind....I googled it! It will be fine! And on a cake dummy, it's the way to go! No waste of butter!
