AI just had a friend request a g.f. wedding cake. I hove no experience with g.f. but I said I will try. Does anyone know any really good gf recipes? Plus any tips or advice with g.f. baking would be much appreciated! Thank you all.

If you are not experienced with gluten free baking, you may want to tell your friend. It's not easy and a lot of gluten free recipes can taste like cardboard. You have to make sure EVERYTHING you use is gluten free.

My aunt has celiac disease and any slight bit of gluten will make her skin inflamed, red, and itchy to the point where she would love to rip it off rather than have it on her body (not trying to be gross). She has scars all over her arms and legs from gluten breakouts. 

I hate to discourage anyone from trying new recipes, but gluten allergies are no joke! I had no idea until my aunt was diagnosed. I won't attempt it because I don't want anything to happen to anyone because of me! I will leave it to gluten free bakeries!

It has been a while since I posted this, but I wanted to update on that cake.  By the way, thank you both for your support.  I made the cake, she didn't get sick and it tasted really good.  I am now working on more recipes that are Gluten Free.
