Personally my work have better results with gumpaste, for those little details I prefer it more than the fondant.

Gum paste.  Rolls thinner, dries faster & harder, holds shape & details better.

AThank you! I like gumpaste too! That's what I used for the Phantom mask in my profile pic. I haven't had a request for butterflies before and wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were! Thanks again. (:

You can get Patchwork cutters that have pretty shapes cut out of the butterflies. They're gorgeous!!!
