THATS ALL! LOL! It turned into something completeky different. I am fairly new to the forum, so I kind of feel like I walked into something unknowingly. But it's ok. I respect everybody's opinions. Discussion is good. It's not hurting my feelings that the warnings are lost on some.
That's good to hear because when you posted the thread in a yelling tone, I was certain you were trying to start something big.
AJason did you receive my PM? My phone was acting strangely and I'm not entirely sure it was sent!

People are not referring to you as a troll for stating your opinion. It's because almost every single post you have made so far has been abrasive and basically trying to get people riled up and arguing with you. That's basically what an internet troll is, if you are not familiar with the term.
And for what it's worth, I am not calling you a troll. However, you have told people numerous times to "grow up" and "act like an adult". I suggest you take some of that advice yourself. These forums are a great place with a lot of very helpful people, but you're quickly setting yourself up to be in a position where most wont want to help you.
Troll is a name and a negative one. I have strong opinions and I voice them. I didn't tell anyone on this post to grow up but this isn't calling names BUT TROLL IS. I'm not being abrasive but opinionated. I have every right to feel strongly for something. Don't help me. I will always post my opinions in a strong way. But I will never CALL NAMES.... and sorry TROLL is a negative name! PERIOD. And GODOT and JASON-Kraft are posting in a abrasive way but they are not being called trolls.... Why?

Was I yelling? I don't remember doing that....I guess I wrote the title in all caps....but I certainly wasn't trying to yell. Or start anything.

Well I guess we need to all stop commenting on threads the second the latest troll pops out from under their bridge to start some drama so we don't get accused of stacking. Actually that's probably a good idea.
The troll in question stated they don't actually sell cakes so the topic isn't even relevant to them anyway.
An excellent point.
AI think it's best the mods lock the thread or something because this has turned into something else

Yes very sad... I don't know what ever happened to moderation. In the old days threads that were off topic were moved or closed. Too bad the topic has been lost and shifted into I don't even know what.
AAw - this is an awesome thread! I love it when people can't stop embarrassing themselves.
AIt truly is. Oh Delicious Desserts how I wish I had understood your warning when you sent it out. I just didn't know :(

Yes, to me it was like you were screaming it. That's just how a whole sentence in all caps effects me. On another board where I've spent quite a bit of time, that's exactly what it means. So now I almost literally feel like I'm being yelled at.

Earlier in the thread you said "I'm not a troll, but you are a bully."
Also, "troll" can be a verb.
Correct...and "troll" actually comes from"trawling" like in a fishing boat. You know, when you throw something (a net) out and wait to see what you catch when you pull it in. So trolls trawl for reactions.
As soon as someone throws out the buzzword "bully" these days I stop taking them seriously, especially on a cake forum. Yes, if you disagree with someone it automatically make you a big old dream crushing meanie bully. Okay.

I just took it as a warning of something that actually happened and you had personal knowledge of. It's not your fault if peope prefer to ignore reality.

Ohhhh wow ok! I usually only add caps for emphasis. This is the first forum ive ever been on so I wasn't aware it could come off like that. I apologize lol

I was thinking the same thing, but soetimes it used to go too far. Once I posted a pic of a rose I made and asked about pricing and the thread was removed and I was basically accused of trying to sell it on CC, which was absurd. And my explanations fell on deaf ears.

I once got a messge that I wasn't allowed to put the url for my blog in my signature because it was considered "self-promotion" or something like that. It was weird. It tended to get a bit arbitrary.

Well, my little profile thingy on here says that I'm offline, so maybe we're all dreaming this and nobody is REALLY posting.
Lmao!
Oh this has been so very entertaining! Honestly, I needed a good laugh. Oh how I love some of you so very deeply.
