That's good to hear because when you posted the thread in a yelling tone, I was certain you were trying to start something big.

it's a verb to bully... by calling me a troll. It's bullying.

Earlier in the thread you said "I'm not a troll, but you are a bully."

Also, "troll" can be a verb.

And for what it's worth, I am not calling you a troll.  However, you have told people numerous times to "grow up" and "act like an adult".  I suggest you take some of that advice yourself.  These forums are a great place with a lot of very helpful people, but you're quickly setting yourself up to be in a position where most wont want to help you.

Troll is a name and a negative one. I have strong opinions and I voice them. I didn't tell anyone on this post to grow up but this isn't calling names BUT TROLL IS. I'm not being abrasive but opinionated. I have every right to feel strongly for something. Don't help me. I will always post my opinions in a strong way. But I will never CALL NAMES.... and sorry TROLL is a negative name! PERIOD. And GODOT and JASON-Kraft are posting in a abrasive way but they are not being called trolls.... Why?

Was I yelling? I don't remember doing that....I guess I wrote the title in all caps....but I certainly wasn't trying to yell. Or start anything.

Can you provide examples of something "abrasive" we've posted?

An excellent point.

Yes very sad... I don't know what ever happened to moderation. In the old days threads that were off topic were moved or closed. Too bad the topic has been lost and shifted into I don't even know what.

Yes, to me it was like you were screaming it. That's just how a whole sentence in all caps effects me. On another board where I've spent quite a bit of time, that's exactly what it means. So now I almost literally feel like I'm being yelled at.

Correct...and "troll" actually comes from"trawling" like in a fishing boat. You know, when you throw something (a net) out and wait to see what you catch when you pull it in. So trolls trawl for reactions.

As soon as someone throws out the buzzword "bully" these days I stop taking them seriously, especially on a cake forum. Yes, if you disagree with someone it automatically make you a big old dream crushing meanie bully. Okay.

I just took it as a  warning of something that actually happened and you had personal knowledge of. It's not your fault if peope prefer to ignore reality.

I was thinking the same thing, but soetimes it used to go too far. Once I posted a pic of a rose I made and asked about pricing and the thread was removed and I was basically accused of trying to sell it on CC, which was absurd. And my explanations fell on deaf ears.

I once got a messge that I wasn't allowed to put the url for my blog in my signature because it was considered "self-promotion" or something like that. It was weird. It tended to get a bit arbitrary.
