AHi, I'm Victoria from London.
I'm making two cakes for a friend's children. A race track where I'm going to make some extra tyres to hold the candles on the side of the board and a barbie cake for her daughter. Can anyone think of anything I could make that's princessy to hold the candles on the barbie cake? I'm making it like sleeping beauty pink.
Thanks in advance x
Hi Victoria, I haven't made many cakes for little girls so I'd like to see what the others suggest too. If all else fails, you could use a small blossom cutter or star to hold the candles up. I've only used a circle cutter for my candles. Best of luck :)
I just roll out a thick piece of coordinating color fondant... then I use a mini cookie cutter in the shape I want, star, heart, etc and then I put the candle in it. :)
AI wanted something princessy that's all. The roses are a doddle with the mould btw, this is for a friend so I'm not charging. Relznik your doll cakes are lovely!
I am thinking hand formed roses... lol... then I would do the roses as a no brainer! I hope you post pictures :)
ALol no, I haven't got that much time on my hands :)
They aren't due until 3 Nov but I will post pics.
Thank you :)
