Hi folks!
I've been lurking for some weeks now but have decided to step up and actually introduce myself as I'd love to start building a network of friends/acquaintances in the cake baking and decorating world.
I'm a new baker in the UK and specialise in gluten-free products (having grown up with a mum with Coeliac's Disease, I remember how much it used to upset her not being able to enjoy a piece of cake now and then) and have been baking for approximately a year, with more emphasis over the last 8 months or so. I am just about to take the plunge into taking it further as a business having been slowly receiving more and more commissions and have decided to take the plunge with starting a regular market stall after some research at the local market.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know folks. I've really enjoyed the site so far and have found some really useful advice, as well as enjoyed the beautiful pictures in the Galleries.

Nice to meet you MCH! I'm glad you like the pink and gold cake. It's also one of my favourites :D Unfortunately I'm still honing my photography skills for a more professional look :D
There's loads of stuff here. I have to tear myself away from the tutorials and recipes every day!
