AI'm making a 4 layer 6 inch cake for a wedding. The bride wants 2 pears on top. What should I make them out of so not so heavy will sink into cake? The cake will be covered in fondant. Tried modelling chocolate but too heavy. Any suggestions anyone?

You can make them out of Rice Krispie Treats and cover them with fondant. Or you can just put a couple of dowels or drinking straws under the pears to support their weight.
