AI recently did this cake and I covered the cakes directly out of the fridge. About 1 hour after they had air bubbles and I think what you call blow outs? I used satin ice. Why did it do this? Advice?

If you let them adjust to room temp first you will have less problems. If the air inside is expanding as it warms up....you are bound to have problems. x

As Rosie mention let your cakes adjust to room temp. before you start covering your cakes.
