So for the topper of a cake im making for a friends birthday I want to actually make a white chocolate Gothic style candle. Ive purchased a wick that will be put inside the chocolate so that eventually i am actually able to light it. I could go with just a regular candle, but I want the "candle" to melt onto the cake below and it still be edible since its made out of white chocolate. Was wondering if people had any ideas how I could accomplish this.

Iv'e thought of buying a chocolate mold of a candle , but Iv'e never used one before, so im unsure of how exactly it works.

Is my mold idea what I should go for or is there possibly an easier way to do this?

Thanks for the help :)

Try googling for tutorials on the subject! I found this video that may help you, but there were tons of other links that will probably help.
