ASince I started making gum-paste flowers I've my eye on a pasta machine. While checking them out the lowest price was $60 so... l check on eBay, Bought one for $10. After practically tearing it apart and cleaning it, I decided to give it a try but my gum-paste was sticking to the rollers. I decided to read and check if I was doing something wrong, but came across that my machine is for clay not for fondant or gum-paste. What can I do to keep using this machine? Do I really have to buy a new one? What to do? Any advice here? Help! :-(

AThe machine was made for clay, but you can use fondant or gum paste with it. The ones made for fondant are the same thing and clay would work in those also. Now that you have cleaned the machine really well be sure to just use it for food items and not clay again. You will need to get the fondant to the right consistency and be sure to dust it with cornstarch or powdered sugar.
