AHi everyone I'm new using this website but I subscribed long time ago, I'm baking mini cupcakes (first time working w this size) and most of the cupcakes from the first batch are a bit crispy on the top the rest of them r coming out ok.:-) I will ice all of them with buttercream just a swirl on top ,my question is can I hide the crunchy flavour with the icing? Is not burnt is just slightly crunchy on the edges ..I hope someone can help me thanks!

Personally, I would not be offended if given a cupcake to eat that had slightly crunchy edges. I would think that the icing would soften up the edge a bit.
