It is just like a life sized wonderpan cake, it is an interesting concept

Apparently my sense of humour went to bed before the rest of me has, haha :P

Exactly. This is why my original comment was sugar-coated sarcasm. My suspicion was that this is a troll post, until I saw the OP had a Facebook page and does seemingly have a business. It's just bizarre that OP would think experienced decorators would believe it's edible.

Love the whoopie pie cake tower!
Hey everybody! Check out google.com ! This is clearly an attempt to direct traffic onto that site and away from cake central. Because everyone knows you can only have one browser open!

Real or not, I don't know, but these life size cakes give me the heebie jeebies. I can't even imagine the thought process for a bride ordering a cake like this. Somebody clearly is not getting enough attention. I remember seeing this one http://bakingbites.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/weddingcake-ls.JPG a while back and thinking wth? I know the wedding is supposed to be all about the bride, but isn't this taking it just a tad too far?

Makes you wonder what they saved for the anniversarytapedshut.gif

Given that there are accusations of photo stealing (including one of a cake made for the family of a fallen soldier that they used in a Memorial Day album) on their facebook page, we should probably take this whole thread with a big pinch of salt...

The 'whoopie pie tower cake' is made out of macarons, they posted a few that were clearly from the Internet.

It's sad when people have to lie to boost their own ego. It's eventually found out, this one didn't take very long at all.

I'm sure they made a lot of the other cakes on their page, but they're misleading their clients by suggesting that they may have made the things like the macaron towers, and there are some made of twinkies that have been presented in the same way.

I think ALL of their "specialty cake" photos are lifted off websites. I've personally seen several on baking websites myself. That along with the picture quality compared to the other work and the accusations of stealing other photos, along with trying to pass a mannequin off as modeling chocolate over rice krispies leads to an air of distrust surrounding this person.

Wow, from the photos the work seems to be very inconsistent!! The baker clearly could care less about copyright and licensing laws!!! I personally question this persons actual level of talent, creativity and ability to run a business!!There is no way the bride cake is 100% cake, it is too perfect except for the face, it looks terrible!!

sorry, but even if that cake was 100% edible, it is very, very ghetto and super creepy. Only a narcissist with no taste would order a cake like that for their wedding.

How sad that someone has to lie/steal  to make themselves feel more important/talented...the work shown on the facebook page is all over the place....ranges from cakes that look wonderful, to cakes that are poorly done. Makes a person question how long the caker has been in business and how much longer they will be in business.  icon_rolleyes.gif

wow that video...talk about "all over the place". seems like every other photo is someone else's work. To the OP, look- please do not insult our intelligence. If you want to do clean, beautiful cakes and take high quality photos of them then you have to work hard and practice, learn how to do it. Do not fake it. It is very unauthentic and the praise and attention you may get to boost your self confidence is all built on lies. Maybe it's a good thing that you decided to post the mannequin cake here. Hopefully it will open your eyes to what a disservice you are doing to yourself and your business. Don't be a phony. Good luck to you.

Whew!  I`m glad I`m not the only one who noticed it was a huge doll cake.

The video looks like a mixed bag of results from Google search.   Makes me wonder if any of them are were made by the OP.
