and i just have questions. i would love any feed back if possible. i do not have any pics due to me only backing and decorating just one cake. sorry. but if you have any input on how to decorate and any techniques please provide.
On how to decorate what? Do you just mean in general, like how to smooth ice a cake and how to cover in fondant?
One good way to get started is to take a class, such as a Wilton class at Michael's or Joann's or elsewhere. That would give you the basics in decorating, on which you could then expand. Also, there are hundreds (if not thousands) of videos on YouTube demonstrating everything. Search for how to fill a cake, how to frost a cake, how to........
There is a search box at the top of every page of Cake Central. Put something in there (e.g., buttercream, or fondant, or filling, or leveling) and hit enter. There are threads about absolutely everything here and you can gain extremely helpful knowledge from them.
There is also a tutorials section.
If you have a specific question for which you cannot find the answer, post that question.
Good luck and welcome to CC.

Welcome mommytutu: don't be concerned about not having photos, I didn't even take photos of my first 20 or so, never even thought to do it. Probably a good thing!!! Happy Baking & use "search" a lot.
You can spend hours simply reading what everyone else has already shared from their experiences.

Hi welcome to CC and welcome to the world of cake decorating... you will love it so much so much to learn just keep practicing any chance you get and read and watch the you tube videos good luck
When you are ready to post your pictures and have people discuss your cakes, there is a thread for that:

These critiques are honest, that is, not just saying "oh, how pretty," so you have to be ready for the constructive criticism.
