Hi everyone

I have been looking for a MG5320 in the UK and they seem impossible to locate.  I am very keen to get this specific model as it appears to be the most highly rated on Cake Central.

Can anyone please assist?

Many thanks!

Tiff

They probably don't use the same ink cartridges. You have to order from someplace like Amazon because Canon has put out new models that take different cartridges which is fine except that cartridges for new models may not be available in edible ink.  It will probably be impossible to find the old model mg5320 on the store shelves anywhere.

I just went through this last week. My printer head clogged and was uncloggable. Now I'm considering buying two of those online. Definitely ordering at least one today. The experience taught me a lot about how to keep my printer working, which is way I'm considering just getting one. But having a back up would feel better.

Good luck!

ASorry to hear about your troubles!

Do you still think that this model is the best? It appears that people run into trouble regardless of which printer they have purchased.

I would buy it again because after the hell I went through, I'm now very familiar with the machine and feel like I can maintain it well averting problems and I know where to get the edible catridges. It's inexpensive unless you buy it from an edible image place.

It's not the printers, its the edible  ink as I understand it. But if there's a printer that never gets clogged, I'd  rather go with that one. With this printer, the printer head is very easy to remove and clean. Might be a good idea for regular maintenance. I'm not saying it's the best one out there, but it's the best I've had out of the 3 I've used.

The printer itself is awesome and it was my first wireless printer - will never again buy anything but wireless. It scans very well and I use that to scan sketches to send to customers.
