AHello everyone!!!!! My name is Sally and I'm new to this wonderful world of Cake Central... I'm in Miami Florida and I'm not new to baking but new to baking cakes...I've only been doing cakes for a couple of months and everything I know I have taught myself so far... AWelcome to CC! I have only been on here a few months but I have already learned so many things. What did you bake before you started doing cakes? Big tip...write things down. In a notebook, in a word document, whatever your preferred way is. I have a Word document with every tip I have learned types in it. I have never regretted the few seconds it took to copy and paste something!

AThanks ladies for the welcome!!! OMG bct806 that is a great tip... I'm going to start my own lil "Baking Tips Book"... :-) Well I bake breads... I recently opened a wholesale bakery with my parents.... But baking bread and doing cakes are totally different... Specially the decorating aspect of it... So I'm trying to find a few "go-to" recipes...
