AHello all!! Let me start by saying for all of the information you guys share. It is amazing how talented everyone is.

I would like to make fondant toppers that are layered. They look like paper piercings for scrapbooking.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!

The link is for a great website with tutorials for 2d characters, you would make them then use a larger circle cutter if you wanted to make fondant cupcake toppers.

I guess I'm a bit unclear as to what you want help with exactly... Did you have a certain theme in mind? If you just want something simple then you can layer with different sized cutters and letters/numbers. Perhaps if you could be more specific

Steph10467, the design I used for the Princesses were off their invitation.  There are a number of ways to do this and I cover it all on my blog through various posts.  I always start by dissecting the picture and figuring out what shapes I need in order to recreate it with fondant then building it layer by layer, shape by shape until you get it all together.  You can either freehand it our use a template.  If you need a template, print out the picture in the size you need on regular paper, cut it out and use it as a stencil to trace out the fondant cutout with.  There's a Kai-Lan tutorial on my blog that shows this method.  It does take time and patience but the end result pays off.  Best of luck and hopefully you can figure out the best method for you.
