Hi,

I need to get this cake ready on the July 21st. But I don't know how to create the structure, I'm a newbie and have never done structures like this, plz help me!

The tail as well the wings should be of gumpaste, But how is the helicopter lifted with support. I will get the cake ready, cover it in ganache then fondant, but what about the support system, how to make it?

If you look carefully, you can see that there is a block covered with the same fondant as the board, just underneath the body of the helicopter, raising it up.

I would make a shaped board or strong wire coming out of the block (which would be secured to the base) to support the tail.

Sorry, just noticed this.  No, I don't have any tutorials, unfortunately - I've never attempted a cake like this before, although my son has requested a fighter jet cake for his birthday, so I may have to try!  Hope you work it out.
