AHi, I have looked all over google and can't seem to find a tutorial on how to make and cover a key shaped cake. If anyone has a tutorial or knows where I can find one that wod be great.!!!

AMake a cake. Cut out in key shape. Cover.

AI've found printing & cutting a template helps.

Both publisher & excel will print in tiles so you can easily print & tape them together without having to figure out how to print.

Just to expand that out a bit...  icon_lol.gif

 

I made a key shaped cake by making a 6 inch round and a long rectangle, then cut out some 'teeth' from the rectangle, and put them together. I made the pattern by googling key shapes and enlarging on the photocopier.

 

Covering weird shapes is just done the same as normal shapes - a key isn't too difficult. Just make sure you do all the fiddly bits first.
