Hi! I decorate cakes out of my home and each year my family does a talent show at our reunion. They have all be pressuring me to do something involving cake decorating but I cant think of any creative ideas other than stand infront and decorate a cake- which would be boring! Anyone have any ideas? I hope I don't get in trouble for putting this out there! Just figured asking other cake decorators would be better. Thanks for the help!

Ok, we did the same thing ( talent show at our family reunion). And my question is, do the acts that go over the best tend to be the funny ones? Not sure if its just our family but humor was always the key for us. If so you could do a version of an act my sister in law, cousin and I dd. My sil was posing as a make up expert and I was a talk show host. She was demonstrating her technique for applying you make up in the morning. She was sitting at a table applying her make up but the hand were not hers they were our cousins, who obviously could not see what she was doing. It was histerical. You could do the same sort of thing decorating a cake.

Oh, that would be hilarious!  The person in front would be all serious, and the hands are making a giant mess and screwing everything up.  I can totally see that!

That's too funny Jason, I had no idea they had done it. Ours was pretty hilarious,, my poor sil had lipstick all over her face, I just figured it would be pretty funny with cake and frosting too.
