I am traveling from Texas to Vegas at the end of July.  I am making my best friend's wedding cake and she is in Minden, NV.  I want to purchase pre made frosting in Vegas and take it to Minden.  Where are the cake supply stores that sell buttercream frosting in 25# tubs???  Thanks for your help!

You can try Sams club- but unless you go to Michaels and buy small tubs, there aren't any supply stores that sell icing by the tub.

thanks for that info.  i wish i could go to Sams.  i don't have a membership neither does my best friend.  maybe i should just get one for this trip :)

You can try walmart- I have heard some people have gotten them to sell them a tub or two.

That place in Henderson doesn't stock bulk icing. I went there since there is no other place to get supplies- and I found the store quite small and overpriced. It was cheaper to buy items online even when you add in the shipping.

There is still Chef Rubber.

When I went, I found the prices to be competitive to my local suppliers.  Yes it is a small store but in L.A. we don't have many stores, let alone large ones.

how about buying it on Amazon and having it shipped directly to your friend's address.  Just may be cheaper and fresher than what you can find in a small shop.

    I hope this isn't to late but I just got on this. In henderon there is a cake supply place, It is on Water Street. You can go out Boulder Hwy. When you get to Water street, you will turn off.
