Lifting Ice Cream Cake from Cooler Advice

Hello everyone,

I'm very new to baking and have plans at a second attempt at an ice cream cake (first attempt was disastrous). This cake will be going to a BBQ about 15 minutes from me but will also sit for awhile until people get around to eating dessert, so I want to take it in a cooler. I figured I can use dry ice to keep it from melting, but when I measured my cooler, the interior is just barely larger than the size of the cake (it's a 9X13) and I think it may be difficult to lift out without messing up the frosting. Does anyone have ideas for placing the cake on a base that has straps attached so it could be easily lifted out?

Thank you!

This might help. Maybe if you added more dry ice?

That's a really interesting idea; thank you for sharing the link with me! If I don't use it for the ice cream cake, I'm sure I could use that tutorial in the future.
