AHi all, when I first started out baking I use to use Silver Spoon icing sugar (from U.K) to make my buttercream, it was absolutely dreadful!! It was sooooo sweet and not in a good way,now I know its icing sugar and it is meant to be sweet but it just tasted so artificial. So one day I decided to try a different brand called Whitworths- it was amazing!! Such a fresh, light, subtle taste that I could have eaten it straight out of the bag! I was just wondering what brands of icing sugar you guys use? : )
AI'm in the US and i use Domino Confectionery sugar and i use GFS (General. Food Store)brand i love them both. I don't know if that helps or not.
