Would You Use 3 Pieces Of Fondant To Cover This Cake?

Hi, i personally , would roll out the fondant large enough to cover the whole thing, just like any other cake. Roll out, fit to all curves, etc. of the cake and cut away with the pizza cutter. hth good luck

I'm curious as to what is going to be when it's finished.
You would? I guess the worst thing that can happen is I mess it up and have to do it over, right? LOL!
Thank you!
Since its not that tall I would cover the whole thing with one piece also. Just take your time going around the tight corners and curves. I'm also curious...what is it going to be?
AIt's going to be a vintage Mustang logo. The one with the silver pony and red, white, and blue stripes behind it.
AOooh! I see it now! I should've recognized that! I drive a Mustang(I love my car) and I have that Fender badge on my car.
OK, you were all right! I used 1 piece...I don't know what I was afraid of. It was fine, I got a couple of creases but they're really minor. I don't deliver it until tomorrow so I don't want to post any pictures on my Facebook yet but here's a peek at the finished cake. I'll get better pictures at the venue tomorrow. Thanks for all your help!
Oh wow that's great! I don't know how you did it with one piece... I would have gotten a tear for sure at the horses neck- maybe I roll my fondant too thin... or kneed it too warm/soft... or I'm impatient (surely not!) lol

Ohh, I'm blushing that the crazy-talented Crazy-Gray complimented my cake! Actually, I did get a tiny little tear right where the bottom of the horse's neck meets the body of the cake. I was able to fix it with a trick a good cake friend told me about...melt your fondant with a little bit of water and fill in the flaws. I'm not as expert at it as she is but it was a good fix.
