So I made my first fondant covered cake this weekend and I used Satin Ice. I found it tore easily and was hard to work with (which could be due to my lack of experience) . Anyway, my issue was with the taste. I worked hard to make SMBC and cakes with high quality ingredients, and the fondant just didn't taste good. And I definitely wasn't the only one who thought that. Is Fondx better tasting and easier to work with? ALSO! If you have any other recommendations for fondant that I haven't mentioned please let me know.
