Does any know if there is a tutorial on how to put 3 or 4 rows of pleats on a cake but the trick is the last 6" or so of the horizontal pleats twist up and away from the cake and blend into one 4" tall rosette that covers the side of the cake.  I assume the rosette covers the beginning of the horizontal pleat  I have seen pictures of 2 cakes done this way but there is no information on how to contact the person that did them.  One of these cakes is pink and is on Cake Central.

She did it for a baby shower.  Does any one know how to do this cake design and give me instruction on how to create it or know of a tutorial on how to do it.  Thank You!

This is simply beautiful...  I would love to attempt it too.  Wish the picture showed a bit more of the rosette...

Yes, I found a tutorial on www.sugaredproductions.com.  It's a great video!  It's called flowing flower cake.

I need a free tuto because I am from Venezuela, and our government does not allow us to use our credit cards to buy in foreign currency :(

That's easy. Start with a long strip of fondant, make one end slightly ruffled and attach them to the cake flat (like on the left side). Wen you get to the section where the rosette will be you should lift the fondant strip and turn the up, put some toothpicks in the cake to support them while they dry in that position, and when it all dries put the rosette on the cake to cover the ends.
