*i'm trying this recipe for the first time and I just want to pop it into the oven so we can taste it. Will it bake alright in a bundt/tube pan?

Ayep, should be fine. just watch that it doesn't dry out too quickly while cooking. a tray of water in the base of the oven will help. also let it cool completely in the pan and try to resist cutting it for 24hrs :)

really? i went ahead and baked it in 8 inch pans. It baked much faster, at 320, than I thought it would. I didn't use the bain marie. I hope it's tender.

thanks for the info!

You can bake it in anything. They make good cupcakes, too.
