Getting Lot Of Crumbs After Freezing The Cake

Hi,
I have noticed that I get a lot of crumbs on my cakes when I freeze them before decorating. Does anybody else has the same problem? I wrap my cake in a saran/plastic wrap and then wrap it in the aluminium foil before freezing it. Am I doing something wrong or is it normal to get so many crumbs after freezing the cakes? If not, what should I do to get less crumbs after freezing the cake. I let my cakes thaw fully before starting with the crumb coat and decoration. Can anyone advise?
Thanks for the reply denetteb..I will surely try that next time, may be it will seal the crumbs while still frozen.
